- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil, plus more for garnish
- salt and pepper
- For the cranberry sauce:
- 1/2 pound fresh cranberries, rinsed
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon bourbon, if desired
